For this project we were to create a publishable piece of our choosing about the disaster relief work done in Rockport, Tx after Hurricane Harvey. I choose to write an article as well as take pictures to go along side the article. The trip taught me to do things that I never knew I would learn like to put us siding on a house and allowed me to practice things I already knew like painting. Being on the trip there were times I had to be a leader and times I had to step back and follow. While on the trip I got to learn about disaster relief from the people who were handling the Hurricane first hand. The information I learned and got to soak up was vital and I will never forget what I learned.
