As a freshman, I was grouped with 3 other student engineers, where we were tasked of creating an original musical instrument for a child with disabilities. Our end user was able to play instruments with a mallet but sometimes had a hard time reaching all of the keys. My team created a xylophone that conformed to the end user's body that sat on their wheelchair. Because the xylophone was conformed to the side he/she could play on, they were able to hit all of the keys.
During this I managed meetings with professors, and developed the team’s design process schedule, and met with client biweekly.
