This Final Portfolio Essay was a pleasure to write while presenting an argument against eliminating history classes in our school curriculum. Although the argument presented in the scenario mentioned that they wanted to emphasize teaching students to practice critical thinking, I utilized critical thinking in my written response by supporting the idea that our history shapes the potential to create a more inclusive future.
