Artifact 1 - UMSON Application Short Essay Question
The first artifact I would like to share is an excerpt from my application essay to the University of Maryland, School of Nursing. Throughout the application process, we were presented with a range of prompts that required thoughtful and introspective responses. Among those prompts, this particular one resonated with me deeply, capturing my passion and commitment to the field of nursing.

It is a research box assignment, which I completed during my enrollment in BSCI223, a challenging and time-consuming course that delved deeply into the complexities of microbiology. Despite the rigor of the course, I was able to excel and receive an A+ for my efforts, a testament to my dedication and hard work. This accomplishment was not an easy feat, as it required me to attend lab sessions multiple times a week, where I conducted numerous experiments and gained hands-on experience in microbiology.
