This was a Design Project that I completed during my first semester at George Fox where we were tasked with coming up with a problem that we wanted to solve and creating a product that would solve it. My group and I chose to attempt to solve the problem of Glasses Fogging up while wearing a mask. We went through dozens of design iterations and tweaks to better refine and lock down the Nose Bridge design and fastener system (friction, hooks, teeth, etc.). We eventually created a proof of concept which shows the nose bridge working and nearly eliminating the fogging of glasses while wearing a mask without significantly restricting or interfering with the comfort of breathing with the device on.
