This report documents the procedure used to determine the torque profile for a tower crane within given specific kinematic restraints. The torque profile is necessary to safely move the container with a crane at a given rate. The equations of motion were determined for this system within our specified frames. Once the equations had been numerically integrated, a torque profile was determined that satisfied the given criteria for this system.
