Design of Car Towing Mechanism
The goal of this project was to eliminate the disadvantages of the previously used mechanisms, which are as follows:
1. The assembly is not easily portable; it requires making use of a bulky, heavy vehicle to be transported
2. It is expensive
3. It is not modular
4. The mechanism is heavy, uses up a large amount of material and most parts are not standard
The project aims to eradicate most of these disadvantages of a conventional towing mechanism by introducing a design that is lightweight, portable, and is financially sensible enough not to break the bank.
