During my Spring 2020 Desert Biology lab course, I worked with a classmate to develop a research project on the correlation between fire and invasive species in the Mojave Desert. This project is a literature review to get an accurate understanding of the positive feedback loop of fire and invasive species in the Mojave Desert. We specifically looked at the invasive alien grasses, Bromus spp. and Schismus spp. to see their effect on the spread of fire in the Mojave Desert.
