For our Data Communications and Networking class, our group was tasked with developing a full-fledged response plan to a fictitious companies Request for Proposal, following a break-in of their offices that saw the theft of most of their existing networking equipment. The response plan was required to both get the company back up to the full performance, as well as upgrade their remaining infrastructure based on the statements of the CEO, CE, and Network Administrator, all while staying within a strict budget. Additionally, we personal researched potential replacement equipment that best fit the needs of our client company. The project was broken down into multiple deadlines, all of which culminated in the submission of either a formal mock-communication between our "companies", or an update on our progress. Included are both the explanations of the company and the layout of their requested RFP, as well as our final response.
