This goal of this project is to design and manufacture the continuous variable transmission dynamometer, or CVT dyno. The CVT dyno is a data acquisition system that calculates the power transfer from torque and RPM data, compares the measured efficiency to ideal performance efficiency, and allows us to fine-tune the CVT to ensure optimal performance is achieved.
