During my time in COMM 362, I had the opportunity to collaborate with three other team members to carefully craft a Public Service Announcement, Blog Post, and Public Relations Plan, as well as many more enriching assignments. In this course, I gained hands-on experience working alongside strong, motivated, and hardworking individuals.
Essentially, this course strengthened my knowledge and understanding of strategic communications and media relations. My team's media kit included several significant key parts that were carefully written to deliver effective communication and drive our campaign's goal while crafting engaging content.

My role was just like any other team member, as we all played an equal role in making sure all of our work was accurate, engaging, and informational. I wrote clear and concise press releases, collaborated with other team members, pitched new ideas, edited, and more. Ultimately, I learned the significance of clarity, tone, pitches, strategies, messages, and how to properly work with a team. This course not only honed my skills technically, but it also set in stone my passion for Public Relations.
