I lead a team of 4 to conceptualize the design, model in CAD, perform finite element analysis, and create a manufacturing plan for a modular wheelchair. The wheelchair met all the requirements set by the client including a folded width 1.5" less than standard X frame wheelchairs, an electronic seat lifting mechanism to allow safe wheelchair transfers, and ability to attach wheelchair accessories.
