This term in my AP English Literature Class we did a lot of poetry analysis to prepare for the AP test. One of the poems we studied was Burning a Book by William Stafford. It is a very interesting poem that at first glance seems to move all over the place, but after closer inspection is actually very tightly knit and each stanza improves the others significantly. I had a lot of fun analyzing it, and I am proud to show you my interpretation of Burning a Book by William Stafford.
