This Capstone Design Course involved the development and programming of an autonomous robot. This robot was voice-controlled via Amazon Alexa and its primary function was to clean a room of Legos. The Legos were of different sizes and were scattered on the floor, mixed with other toys. The robots’ task was to identify them put them into its container. This paper describes the entire design process of the robot. It describes everything from the list of components to the electrical system and functionalities of the robot. This paper was written with next semester class as the main audience.
