This was one of my first hardware projects where I was given a picture of a 3.5 mm audio amplifier schematic, and had to create a prototype all on my own. The first step for this project was to recreate the schematic in Eagle, and then begin the board layout using my chosen components. The schematic had all the component values listed, but I still had to search on Digikey to select and order the specific parts I intended to use for the project. Once the boards were printed and my components arrived, I soldered everything together and was the first student to have a fully functional board. I used the remaining days in the class to help other students test and debug their boards using function generators and oscilloscopes the same way I did with mine.
