A cross-sectional study using Women's Healthy Eating and Living study data was done to understand the role of family history of breast cancer in predicting health behaviors in breast cancer survivors. Logistic regression analysis was performed to find the association between smoking, exercise, prophylactic mastectomy and family history. The study results demonstrated that women with a family history of breast cancer were more likely to undergo a prophylactic mastectomy.
