During my time at Cisco College, I did a research project focused on injury prevention in All-Star cheerleading. As a former All-Star cheer athlete, I’m passionate about creating a safer environment for our sport. Here’s what my project covered:
Understanding Risks: I dug into common injuries faced by cheerleaders, including muscle strains, ligament sprains, and fractures.
Prevention Strategies: My research included ways to minimize risks. From proper technique to safe landings, my goal was to enhance safety for athletes.
