This assignment, prepared for the Airline Planning, Operations and Management unit involved working as a team of two to create an airline schedule. We were given a fleet of Airbus A320, A330 and Bombardier Dash 8 Q-400 aircraft and a target overall load factor of 85%. Taking into account passenger preferences, real-world airline practices and curfew limitations, we were able to construct a workable schedule that fit the needs of business and leisure travellers. The excel spreadsheets contain the schedules over two days in two different formats, as well as the overall load factors per route. The report details the rationale behind decisions made when constructing the schedule.
