Worked in a group of 4 to adapt a grantry robot that could pick and place objects autonomously. My primary responsibility was designing the electronics for the robotic hand.
It has a power source of 12V, 5A DC. Motor drivers send power to the motors of which there are two types. The Arduino UNO microntroller sends signs to motor drivers of which there are 3; common step signals, common enable signals and separate direction signals. It claw would close itself until the feedback from the pressor sensors and the tips of the 'fingers' reached a high enough threshold.
