While studying ABA content and philosophical terms, data was collected on myself using three target decks (acquisition) and one cumulative fluency deck of SAFMEDS cards. The goal was to go through each deck and get up to 14 correct cards within a 30 second time interval. Once this goal was met, then I proceeded onto the next target deck of cards. During the duration of the project, interventions were put into place to best see how I studied and if adjustments were needed. Course ABA 636 reviewed and utilized all decks from previous courses based upon scores from a mock BCBA exam in the first week. The definition cards from all cumulative decks were reviewed along with trials run. Each new week a target deck (consisting of example and concept cards) was reviewed based upon the weakest scores from the mock BCBA exam and trials were run. The questions from the mock BCBA exam were broken down by task list so decks could be specifically reviewed by course number. For instance, my weakest score from the first mock BCBA exam came from task list C and D, which corresponded to course ABA 624 Measurement and Design, therefore reviewing and re-running trials from that previous course SAFMEDS deck. A final review of all decks were needed to re-test for a second mock BCBA exam to increase scores for the final week of course ABA 636.
