This is a wall mount for an Acer B230 monitor that I designed, 3D printed, and assembled.

It consists of 19 custom-made components, as well as various countersunk machine screws and heat-set threaded inserts for PLA. These components allowed me to keep the design as compact as possible while providing the necessary amount of strength to keep the monitor rigidly secured. The design features curved slots to allow the user to rotate the screen left or right, depending on what viewing angle they prefer.

I delved into Master Modeling CAD techniques for the first time with this build. All of the individual part files are driven by a 'master' file which contains all of the preliminary sketches needed to determine their geometries. This technique enabled me to implement a top-down design approach for the design; I used the master model to determine the overall design and dimensions of the assembly, and I then broke that design into individual parts to work out individual component details and dimensions. This process saved a lot of CAD time and made it easy to implement changes to the design.
